After I had lunch I hopped on my bike and pedaled to Rome. By midnight I was biking along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea about 200 years after ancient Greece. Cautiously I entered the town. During the night the streets were almost empty. Except for one yelling plebeian, the town was silent. "Freedom" he shouted. "Great Plebeians, rebel from the patricians." Helplessly, I stood, invisible. I decided I would rebel with the plebeians. Just as I was about to go over and talk to the protester, he walked over to me. Keeping my cool, I approached him. Loudly, he exclaimed, "Join the cause. My People have little to no rights and we can't even vote. Now the plebeians do all the work while the patricians do nothing."
"Okay." I said.
Plebeians stood out side a patricians house, protesting loudly. Quickly the streets had filled with people. Restlessly, plebeians marched back and forth. Shouting, the protesters said "We want equal rights."
Towering over us, a plebeian stuck his head out the window. Ugly cries rang back and forth as people argued with each other. Valiantly, the patrician with his head out the window came down the meet us. "We Patricians are able to negotiate if you tell us exactly what you want." Xylophones played in the distance. "Yay." the plebeians exclaimed.
