M2: Egypt at Last

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" I screamed as my bike hurdled through time. All around me were swirling colors. I was beginning to feel nauseous. Finally my bike wheels hit rough, rocky ground. I was glad to feel something solid beneath my feet. Glancing around, I noticed the dry, rugged terrain, right before my bike rolled into a fast moving river. This must have been the Nile Rive that TTI had briefed me on. It seemed as if I was around Giza. I gasped for breaths and my head collided with something sharp.
I breathed in the sent of baking dough and felt soft dry clothing against my skin. The air was hot and sticky. I inched open my eyes and saw a giant looming pyramid in front of me. So that settled it. I was in Giza, which was known for it's giant pyramids. The pyramid was still under construction, so it was the Old Kingdom. There was shouting behind me. I realized that they were speaking ancient Egyptian but for some reason I could understand. Then I remember the translator that was implanted in my brain. It was all so confusing. The two men seemed to be talking about me. Finally they came over and handed me an ancient fish sandwich. One of the men was wearing the traditional Pharaoh beard. It must have been Khufu, the Pharaoh that built the pyramids. I gasped. The Pharaoh was handing me  food!

  5. I LOVE YOUR POST! I can't believe that the pharaoh, ruler of over million people acutely handed you food! He must have had a HUGE heart. In mine the king dies and is succeeds by his heir- Menkaure. See you in the Past!

  6. I was thinking the pharaoh was going to use you as a food tester to see if the sandwich was poisoned or not. Be careful!
