M13: India!

Stupid Time Traveling Institute! Today was the day that I was supposed to be at the Bay of Bengal. But instead I'm trying to conserve my body heat as I climb across THE HINDU KUSH MOUNTAINS. Sadly it's ancient times so I have to travel thousands of miles on foot. I've decided that I want to go to the Indus river, travel by boat to Mount Everest, and use the Ganges river to make it to the Bay of Bengal. First though, I need to get the Hindu Kush Mountains. I'm really cold right now and I have about 20 layers on.
I tried to climb the 5 mile high Mount Everest but I got altitude sickness after only 5 hours of hiking. It was way to steep and rocky for me to climb any further. After that I had to walk all the way to the Ganges river. I'm finally cruising along the fast moving river in a rowboat. I'm surrounded by farms because the Ganges river provided the banks with really fertile soil. The only downside is that I have no cover and it's raining about 2 inches a minute. It seems like it's started raining even harder now. The river is rising almost instantaneously. Now the water is starting to sweep away some of the crops. It's a flood!
The river rose about 10 feet during the flood. It destroyed all the plants and houses. Luckily now I am safe. Finally I arrived at the Bay of Bengal. As soon as I got there, the rain stopped. The Bay of Bengal is beautiful. The streets are full of people. I'm going to find a place to stay then get some sleep. After all I did just survive a monsoon.
